John Farmer

John Farmer was one of the Senior Counsels and Team Leaders on the staff of the 9/11 Commission. He recently wrote a book called The Ground Truth: The Story Behind American’s Defense on 9/11. In this book John Farmer writes, “at some level of the government, at some point in time . . . there was an agreement not to tell the truth about what happened.”
According to the website of the publisher, Houghton Mifflin Books, “Ultimately Farmer builds the inescapably convincing case that the official version not only is almost entirely untrue but serves to create a false impression of order and security. “
A friend of the author of this site read Farmer’s book expecting to find a huge expose. However what she found was mostly a defense of the official conspiracy theory.
In a related story, insiders on the 9/11 Commission were reported (back in 2006) to have felt that the U.S. military had lied so badly to the Commission that they considered referring the matter to the Justice Department for criminal investigation.
This information coming from a 9/11 Commissioner is consistent with other information from insiders such as Thomas Kean and Lee Hamilton casting doubt on the validity of the official story.
