Overview

It’s important to know that we in  the 9/11 Truth movement have strength in numbers and that many very credible people agree with us. For those who want a list of the major lines of evidence that cast doubt on (or disprove, take it as you will) the official story and suggest that 9/11 was an inside job, here is a partial list.

Hundreds of high-level military officers, intelligence professionals, structural engineers, architects, scientists, Congress people, and even 9/11 Commissioners agree with us and question the government’s version of 9/11. There are many other lines of evidence besides the evidence of controlled demolitions that brought down the World Trade Center to study. Each of them suggests that the official story on 9/11 is false.

We do not intend to go into any of these today; however each one has merit. When one compares the official story and statements by Bush Administration officials with facts known from other sources as well as, in some cases, other statements by other Bush Administration officials, there are contradictions galore. A really full exploration of 9/11 would cover many if not all of these. We could address some of them in future meetings. In no particular order:

#1) The role and whereabouts of Vice President Cheney on 9/11

#2) The failure of the military to intercept the hijacked planes; contradictory official accounts

#3) The failure to defend the Pentagon

#4) The war games which the military was conducting and their effect on the response

#5) Insider trading especially put options on the stock of American and United Airlines

#6) Foreknowledge via U.S. intelligence agencies

#7) Foreknowledge via foreign intelligence agencies

#8) Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s statement on 9/11 that “. . . we were told the World Trade Center was going to collapse . . . .”

#9) Larry Silverstein’s statement on 9/11/02 that he recommended that the NYFD “pull” building 7, and “. . . they made that decision to pull and we watched the building collapse.”

#10) The obstruction by FBI headquarters of independent investigations in FBI field offices in Phoenix (the Moussaoui computer), Minneapolis (Colleen Rowley), Chicago (Robert Wright) and Washington, D.C. (“Able Danger”)

#11) The testimony, blocked by gag order, of FBI translator Sibel Edmonds

#12) The testimony, omitted from the 9/11 Commission report, by WTC custodian, national hero, and “last man out” William Rodriguez

#13) Foreknowledge by the BBC and CNN which reported the collapse of Building 7 before it happened

#14) Osama bin Laden is not wanted by the FBI for the 9/11 attacks

#15) The U.S. military had Osama bin Laden cornered in the mountains of Tora Bora, Afghanistan, in 2003 and intentionally let him and a convoy of hundreds of trucks escape

#16) Removal of the steel, crime scene evidence, which investigators could have examined for clues

#17) Plans for invading Iraq were already in place before 9/11, and 9/11 facilitated them

#18) The anthrax came from U.S. military labs and this investigation was dropped

#19) Numerous flaws in the investigation by the 9/11 Commission (we will describe a few), including decision to make the 9/11 report a “consensus” document with no dissenting reports, so any controversial information was simply left out.

#20) Numerous flaws in the investigation by the Joint Inquiry, U.S. Congress, 2002

#21) Foot dragging in even starting an investigation

#22) Numerous flaws in the investigation by NIST, including lack of access to their data

#23) The lack of any credible evidence showing that al Qaeda was responsible for 9/11

#24) The false claim that Iraq was connected to 9/11

#25) The false claim that nobody could have predicted that hijacked planes would be flown into buildings. It was specifically predicted many times, sometimes publicly, by U.S. intelligence.

#26) Foreign government financing of 9/11 by Saudi Arabia and Pakistan

#27) The Families Steering Committee’s 400+ questions for the 9/11 Commission, of which 70% were not answered at all

#28) Many Bush Administration insiders belonged to the Project for a New American Century, which wrote in 2000 of the need for “a catastrophic and catalyzing event such as a new Pearl Harbor” to expedite the transformation of public opinion into accepting war.

#29) A photograph of a blonde woman in white pants standing in the impact hole in the North Tower, published by both FEMA and NIST, which suggests it was not very hot

#30) Lack of Boeing 757 airplane debris at the Pentagon and the too small hole in the Pentagon

#31) Lack of any mention of an airplane in the Pentagon’s first official statement on 9/11

#32) The unprecedented secrecy in the Bush Administration on 9/11

#33) The U.S. takeover of Iraqi oil

#34) Destruction of evidence including an audiotape made by air traffic controllers on 9/11
