COG
COG stands for continuity of government. This is the overall set of procedures that can, in theory, enable the U.S. government to continue to function in a time of national emergency. At its best, that is. COG is also subject to abuse because there are really no checks and balances and it can be used to “temporarily” supercede the Constitution. We may be living under a COG situation now which existed ever since 9/11. Statements of some Congressmen, including DeFazio and Kucinich, strongly suggest this.
